When we get an order from an online store customer we put the order in ‘reserve status‘. When the order is in the reserve status, it means that the product is already reserved for exactly this order. The particular product is not available for another order. It is awaiting picking and packing, and for the subsequent processes.
—————————————————————————
This is flexible management of reserved goods in the warehouse. Orderadmin automatically reserves inventory for incoming orders to prevent accepting orders for already reserved or partly reserved stock.
– Example for a Partly reserved order:
Your customer ordered a pack of tea and a cup on your website. But you didn’t set the ‘Low inventory’ alert and you have found that for the customer order that there is none of that pack of tea, you have only the cup and it is the last one.
You do not have to cancel the customer’s order. You can set the order status as ‘Partly reserved’ in your Orderadmin. The system will hold the cup in reserve and will prevent accepting orders for the reserved stock, so a quick replenishment for the missed item can be made.
