How to create a warehouse layout in Orderadmin?
What is the best layout?
Having the right warehouse layout from the beginning is crucial if you want to save time and be more efficient. The faster you or your employee can carry out fulfillment tasks, the better your facility operates. We offer our standard scheme for warehouse layout which allows the best work with the Orderadmin platform. Of course, you can change the layout for your specific workflow.
The Orderadmin standard warehouse layout

How to start
1. When creating the locations in OA, this is the hierarchy: Room – Section – Section (subsection) – Place.
2. When you have those places created in the system, you have to print and attach the labels for them (from storage locations & barcodes)
3. The Packaging area (pic above) is named ”assembly place” in the system. That is where you pack & label the orders before shipping.
4. Sorting place (recommended for big warehouses) is not required but if you have many orders it is a good way to sort before packing.
